Was there on a business trip, stayed in Yokohama. Had a day off to see places around - visited Kamakura, a typical Japanese town whichwas the capital in 1300s, and went to Tokyo couple of times.

Politer than polite people, high on discipline and tolerance
Some hooked onto mobiles, others to tiny mp3 players
Fast paced life, super fast bullet trains
Electronics selling like potatoes
Restaurants stacked over one another, serving sushi, tempura, but nothing veggie!
Japan seems to have the perfect proportion of tradition and technology!!
